Welcome to K & K Morgans!

Nate Ketchum and Terri Kaufman established K & K Morgans in 1999. Nate has been trained as a mounted police officer part time with a local police department. He has taken this training and expertise and brought it home to his own horses and foals. He has also taught Terri and their daughter, Cortney what he has learned so that they can teach their horses as well.

Our foals when born, are imprinted and are halter broke within days of birth. From the beginning, they learn who is boss and "respecting space". Within the first month, they have their muzzles, bridle paths and ears clipped. And so the process begins. Throughout the training process, they are loved and continuously given positive reinforcement.
